EA Canada (EAC).EAC is the world’s largest development studio for interactive entertainment and is also home to the world’s largest Motion Capture facility.  EAC develops several of EA’s biggest global sports franchises, including FIFA Soccer, NBA Live, NHL, NBA Home court, FIFA Street and EA SPORTS™ Fight Night.

EA Black Box (EAX) in downtown Vancouver, B.C., was created in 2002 when EA acquired Black Box Games.   EAX is best known for the blockbuster racing franchise, Need for Speed. One of the top 10 all-time best-selling games in North America, Need for Speed has generated more than $2 billion worldwide since its inception more than a decade ago.  The EAX team is also developing Skate, a brand new IP set for release in 2007.  EA’s Worldwide Studio leaders are based at EAX. 

We employ over 1800 professionals with aggressive plans to add more top creative talent to our team, as we pursue our mission to be the most visionary and commercially successful studio in the world.

In pursuit of this mission, we have built a 400,000 sq. foot state-of-the-art studio that comes compete with 20,000 sq. foot fitness centre including an NBA regulation indoor basketball court, intramural sports leagues, soccer pitch, basketball courts and beach volleyball as well as a large cafeteria, Arcades, Gaming lounges and 2 Theatres and amongst a host of other amazing amenities. Perched on top of a 19 acre hilltop site, surrounded with trees, this new studio has been designed to provide the ultimate working environment for our employees.
